Getting Started in Kingshot

Kingshot combines kingdom building with hero collection and strategic battles. Here's how to start strong.

1. Focus on Your Castle

Your castle is the heart of your kingdom. Level it up as quickly as possible — it unlocks better buildings, higher tier troops, and more hero slots. Never let your castle idle when upgrades are available.

2. Resource Foundation

Build and upgrade farms, lumber mills, quarries, and gold mines first. A strong resource base powers everything else. Aim to keep your resource buildings at least 3 levels below your castle level.

3. Your First Heroes

Early game, focus on the hero you start with and any you get from the new player events. Don't spread resources thin — invest in your top 3 heroes.

4. Join an Active Alliance Immediately

Alliances provide crucial benefits: construction/research speed boosts, alliance gifts, and protection. Join one within your first hour of gameplay.

5. Common New Player Mistakes

• Don't upgrade every building equally — focus on key buildings
• Don't waste gems on speed-ups — save for VIP and events
• Don't fight battles without scouting first
• Don't neglect research — it provides permanent benefits
